Recurring sharp pain in the back of skull, behind the right ear.? - sharp recurring pains in front and behind the ear

My wife is 31 years old, smokers, non drinker, and no history of headaches. She experienced severe pain in the back of the head a few inches behind the right ear. It is not a complainant, then I'm afraid! The pain was 8 out of 10 and comes around every 5 minutes, then disappears completely until you return. It took a few days and the pain is not so bad today (3 / 10).

We went to the emergency room on Friday, 12/26 and had a CT scan and blood tests, was also in order. I remain concerned. Could an early sign of an aneurysm or a tumor or other serious illness? Or is it just a variant of migraine? The documentation was not sure.
